Health & Safety Policy

GC IMC are committed to safeguarding the health and safety of its employees, contractors, and the public by providing safe and secure working environment, Safe System of Work (SSOW), training, and utilizing safety conscious workforce to ensure high quality professional service and safe execution of work is achieved.

We aim to conduct all its activities ranging from:

  • Marine equipment (Fenders & Hoses) inspection and report
  • Marine equipment (Hoses) periodic hydrostatic test and certification
  • Marine equipment (Fenders) periodic valve pressure test and certification
  • Marine equipment (Fenders & Hoses) net and cut/abrasion repairs
  • Sales of repair accessories (chain, tyres, swivels, shackles etc.)

And take principal account of the health and safety of its employees and all other persons who maybe directly or indirectly involved and affected as a result of their offshore and ashore activities.

GC IMC shall comply with all Local/International legislation and regulations and meet all the standard requirements of ISO 45001:2018 as commitment to continual improvement in health and safety performance.

GC IMC shall ensure that H&S objectives are established, implemented, monitored and reviewed. GC IMC shall communicate the H&S policy both within the organization and to the interested parties.

In order to achieve the health and safety requirements, GC IMC shall ensure the provision of suitable/sufficient work environment and wellbeing of its employees, and the effective maintenance of operational vessels and boats.

The entire Occupational Health and Safety system of GC IMC will be reviewed regularly by top management to ensure continual improvement of the management system.
